Spur is the app for spontaneous plans. Post what you feel like doing — pickup basketball, patio drinks, a sunset paddle — and people nearby join in. Tonight, not "sometime."

Why we built it

Every group chat has the same graveyard: "we should hang out soon." Six people, forty messages, nobody commits. Spur skips the negotiation — you see plans that already have a time and a place, and you either join or you don't.

Built so people actually show up

• Real people only — every account is phone-verified. No bots, no burners.
• Reliability is visible — hosts and joiners build a track record; flaking has a cost.
• Refundable deposits — hosts can ask for a small deposit that comes right back when you show up.
• Safety first — block and report tools, photo moderation, and community guidelines with teeth.
